Perhaps. If you asked me today, I would say the only way that would happen is if the Democrats continue to self-destruct and enough dis-affected Democrats join with moderate forces. Putting together a third party from scratch, however, is extremely difficult.
Maybe a new third-party will evolve out of this far left vs far right mess.
